Daniel Caliri

Daniel Caliri moved to Hawaii from the 'Mainland' USA (New Orleans & Cape Cod) in his early teens, attending high school in Honolulu at St. Louis and Maryknoll. 

His works draw inspiration from being an Autism ‘Dadvocate’ and real life experience with neurodivergent children. 

Humorous books & media focused on grammar and wordplay can challenge rigidity and educate in a fun, safe way. Putting a twist on words not only encourages flexibility, it can also teach humor. 

Daniel Caliri studied English at Salve Regina University, Tulane University and University of Hawaii. He currently resides with his family on the island of Oahu.
